Economic slowdown: Video games sales fall 20 percent worldwide

In the first eight months of this year, retail sales of video games has dropped 20 percent in the US, followed a lackluster performance in 2011. In 2011, the sales fell 8 percent. To the reader's surprise, the sales of portable gaming machines surged well.
