A Carollton, Georgia woman is in Augusta fighting for her life. She is fighting a flesh eating bacteria, necrotizing fasciitis. Aimee Copeland was injured last week, and now she has lost limbs to the bacteria.

The infection, which is more commonly just called NF, is cause by a flesh eating bacteria that can eat through your body's skin, fat, and muscle tissue very fast.

The infection is rare, but according to WebMD...1 out of 4 people who are diagnosed with NF is killed by the bacteria. Many of those diagnosed are healthy before they're infected.
